Introduction

The Radio Broadcasters’ Code of Conduct & Operation Guidelines handbook has been drafted and developed with numerous interactions, discussions, consultation meetings, suggestions, inputs, feedback and a lot of research work. The handbook is the outcome of inputs from direct participation of 496 media people including the radio managers, representatives from radio associations, content production houses, social bodies, media organizations and stakeholders. There have been 3 introductory meetings prior to the project implementation duration and 10 consultation meetings within the project activity period.

Involved media people and stakeholders

The associated list comprises of the radio stations, stakeholders and experts involved for the development of ‘Radio Broadcasters’ Code of Conduct’. These involvements have been mostly through the active participations on various consultation meetings conducted at national and regional levels, as well as through others means of participation and contribution.
